I remember when I moved to NYC in 2003, determined to make a film, and did, with the help of these 2, who were living in Williamsburg at the time. I placed an ad on Craigslist, looking for equipment to rent or buy, and they responded. I went to pick up the equipment from their apartment, and they were really kind. They told me I could use their equipment (as I recall, a light kit, boom pole, and a few other small items), entirely at no charge! I remember being shocked, and offered to pay something, but they insisted, saying that they just wanted to help, knowing what it was like to produce a feature film on a nothing budget. So I paid them nothing, and I remember needing to hold onto the items a day or two longer than we agreed on, called them to ask for an extension, and it was no problem at all! I eventually returned everything, thanked them, wished them luck, etc. If I remember correctly, they were on their way to Los Angeles that year, or the year after. And the rest is history! So, its nice to see them continue to advance in the biz. Nice guys do finish... whether first, or last, it doesnt matter. They finish :) Kudos to them!
