I remember when I started running and I pulled a hamstring. A few days later it felt better so I wanted to run again. Gary told me I would have to take off a couple of weeks but I didnt listen. I got 1 mile from home and the hamstring got pulled again -this time much worse. I had to limp back home. You would think I learned my lesson. But I didnt I hurt my ankle waited a couple of days then got back on it. Now I know it will take a couple of weeks. So what I will be doing is the weight portion of my exercise and no cardio because I cant jump or run on the ankle. I can walk so I plan on doing a lot of walking. If you get injured while you exercise dont be dumb like me make sure you take care of yourself and give it injury time to heal. This is only January 19 the year is still ahead of us. Our goal is to be heart healthy and in shape for the year and that gives us 11 more months to go!
