I remember when I used to be a trainer at Convergys I always had to show this anti-union training video. It was so creepy. It had the general mix of office workers, one white guy, one black guy, and one asian woman, or something like that. They were literally standing around a water cooler speaking overly articulately about their fear of unionizing. I remember the guy who wanted to unionize walked around looking like a villain wearing a trench coat saying, You wanna unionize, man!? Mwahahahahaha! As if they were teaching people stop, drop, and roll the office workers sternly commanded, report any and all suspicious activity to management and other strange instructions. What a dystopia Ive found myself living in. A dystopia so obvious that it has become a parody of itself. This is what makes it effective.
