I remember when I was a child. Mum used to take me into town on her payday. She would give me $10 to do what I wanted with it...preferably a movie of course to give her a little Mum time. I knew that and respected it. So I would drop her off to the pub while I would go to the movies. Come on, I was 7, 8 years old and I knew my Mum needed Mum Time. I could look after myself big time! So I did my thing for a couple of hours and then I would go back to the pub to pick her up and take her home. By then she was well on her way(if you know what I mean)and then we would depart...homeward bound. She would ask me if I wanted anything, and suggested lollies?...Oh yeah, any 7, 8 year old kid wouldnt turn that down, and then I realised that the best time to get Mum in a good mood was when she had a few ales...hahaha...otherwise she was hard as a rock and I would never get boo out of her...Love you Mum
