I remember when i was kid i was eager to be a part of these plays at school but knowing we muslims dont celebrate Christmas i didnt even bother, just wanted to be a part in something that wouldve put a smile on my parents face just like my nephew did to me last night, even though i havent slept since weds he was dying to come because his mom said she cant make it, so i took him and it was quite entertaining he was so happy and kinda of shy but once he saw how happy everyone in the audience and his friends enjoying themselves while performing he had a spark in his face thatll stands out to anyone in their family, anyways the moral of this status is kids always want to show what they accomplished and they want you to be there, so i advise everyone to take a day off/stop being lazy or whatever your doing and see what you kids/nieces/nephews got to offer, if it dont put a smile on your face then ill glady go and smile for you!
