I remember when music was my only passion. When music felt like - TopicsExpress

I remember when music was my only passion. When music felt like my only chance at success. I remember hating when Doug Mcleod or Warz would tell me what I was doing wrong, and what I needed to do to fix it. I also remember feeling like my talent was just gonna shine thru and I was gonna explode on to the scene like the next big thing. Looking from the outsode in, i was prideful, ignorant, and stubborn. It took me leaving music and having another angle to look at it from to realize how small of a scale I was working on for so many years. So when I say what i say, or have an opinion on what people may be doing wrong, or how they portraying themselves over social media is affecting their entire brand, even the littlest thing....I expect the fireback. I expect the animosity, I expect the hate. Cuz not many people take advice and criticism in the proper manner.....I sure didnt. The people who do take these things the right way, excell and succeed. That being said, step outside ur own box and look in from another perspective and ask urself....would i follow my movement? Would I support my posts, my rants, my negative statuses, my overly offered life information and feelings that are posted? Or is the mystery of who someone is the reason people beg for more. Dont give too much of yourself away for free via Mark Zukkerberg and twitter. Dont try and do it all yourself. If you dont have the money right now, wait! Gather whats needed and hit them properly. Target ur fans, target your market, strategically make your moves as if you are in a war for your prosperity. Then you will have a chance to win. Talent means nothing, strategy means everything.
