I remember when my twins were 4-years-old, Nathan just got the autism diagnosis and Amor started having seizures (myoclonic epilepsy). I thought life ahead was going to be so hard for me as a parent. A year later, when we found the Son-Rise Program, my beliefs started to change...was it possible that life could be ok even with special needs twins? Today, we have so many things to be thankful for! First and foremost are the wonderful people who have embarked on this journey with us: Nathans Son-Rise Volunteers: It takes a whole village to raise a child...and probably more to raise a child with autism.
