I remember when the Broncos came to Denver, I was in grade school, my dad would sit and explain the rules of football to me, so in Jr high and high school I would explain football to the other girls. I am a true native Bronco fan. I bleed orange. I remember when we got John Elway, we went to 3 super-bowls in 4 years, but never won the big one, then years passed with nothing. My husbands grandmother said we should get rid of Elway he is getting to old, my response was who could we get that is better than Elway. about then we got rid of Dan Reeves, 2 years with Phillips then Shanahan came and we finally won 2 super-bowls. we have had those hopes again with Manning, and it has been fun, despite the disappointment. If he chooses to retire I will understand. only he can judge the pain and risk he endures. but if he leaves, I will ask the same question, who could we get that is better than Patton Manning. QB like Elway and Manning are few and far between and tonight no one is more disappointed than Manning and Elway. Broncos I love you, thanks for ALL the good and bad memories
