I remembered bits and pieces from seeing it as a 12yr old, back in 92, my mom like most had become a huge Brad Pitt fan from his role in Thelma and Louise. Having gained some perspective over the years I really enjoyed the film. Its based on a novel that I must read now. Its an old mans memories looking back on his life which is poetically narrated by director Robert Redford who does a masterful job of capturing the naturally beauty of Montana. Its a sliver in time and after watching Im left with the most powerful feeling art can achieve, self reflection. Plus a well known actor got his first role as a young boy.
