I rent the lower half of a house in Mich. The upper half can be rented out. My new landlord has done 2 things that are not right, I think. 1. He decided for me that my storm window should be down in one room and did it from the outside. I was home and it gave me the creeps. When I confronted him, he apologized and said that he thought I wasnt home. I said that this is my private property and he has no right to change anything in my rental, even if Im not home. [I pay for my own heat.] 2. Hes been vague for a month now about whether or not hes living upstairs. Hes there a lot, and paces back and forth up there long hours. Do I have the right to know whether or not hes living there? Yes hes an oddball. It figures Id get an oddball.
