I reposted this from my own facebook page. Nov 15: Today I give thanks for old friends. Some have passed and we miss them. For the rest of us, these are folks that you may not talk with for years but when you do it was just like yesterday picking up where you left off. We grew up together, went to Elementary, Jr. High, and High school together. We gave our teachers hell, skipped school, dropped out of high school. We laughed, we cried, hung out, stayed out all night, partied, got drunk, smoked our first joints, went to rock concerts, drive-ins, swam in rock pits, and took risks together. We knew where each other lived. We were good, we were bad, we survived, and sometimes we just lucked out. The list goes on and on. Somebody up there must have been watching over us. We were brave and it was fun. Margate was a magical place. [Please share a memory.]
