I requested a copy of my employment records. For some reason the information that was sent back is filled with a lot of answers to line items saying, Data not provided.” This is things like the division that I worked at, when I began at GM, how long I was there, the reason for termination must to mention a few. All of the information that is on this form was on a document that I sent to this HR person. Essentially there is no record of me being at The General Motors Research Laboratory. There is no record of my salary. There is no record of my promotions. There is no record of my evaluations over those years. It is obvious that my records were not available and the HR fabricated the ones provided to me. My records were sent to me in a plain envelope. My address and his address were hand written on the envelope. There are no official seals on any of the documents sent to me. We were once told that there is nothing official from GM unless it had the official GM seal. We told to question any and all documentation that is given to us without these seals. I just looked at my 25th year award ant it, and the envelop had the official seals. My payroll stubs have these seals. All of the adverts and other stuff sent to me all have this seal. The HR Director’s letter in the place of the official seal has a red square with a fishing pole on it. Another thing that also is off is that in this document I was elevated to the engineering level. During my 26 years there I was placed into the technical group. I was paid in the technical pay grade and when I got my degree I was told that I was a technician with an engineering degree. If I was always an engineer I need to know why my pay grade was wrong. A couple of years after I got my degree I had been underpaid by $170,000.00 for just those years. This has been 20 years ago. At this point I really do not know what can be done. It appears that GMR knew what they were doing and are covering up what happened. The people that were involved need to be brought to justice. Since there will be no records that show that embezzling money from individual employees is part of the corporate program the right thing to do is to hold the company harmless for the people that did this. I would like to have my pay role inspected and corrected. I believe this is the reason that I have only had three responses to job applications in four years. Two of these responses were from GM during the time that my state senator has been looking. I am going back to him with my findings. He will hit the ceiling. During his preliminary investigation his layer was asked to leave the GM Technical Center grounds when trying to contact my HR person. I can no longer wait. There is also some question about my departure from GMR. I was in the middle of several projects that were scheduled to be integrated into projects that were already scheduled for manufacture. One that I have the record of invention showed up on a Honda advertisement despite that fact it was into several Cadillac models and the Chevy Volt. Another was a key component was scheduled to go inside the transmissions of several of our high end SUVs. I was at a friend’s funeral in 2012 and he told me that he was never able to take the project to the next level. He trolled the lab and was not able to locate a single person that was able to do embedded microcontroller design. The people in my group could make cables and hook up certain types of instruments, but none were designers or programmers. Most of the stuff that I designed was invisible. It was always burred deep inside of other projects that allowed testing to be done. Many of these, “Gadgets,” were the things that actually did, ran, or run the test. I have a full range of design skills that did not come from any of the schools that I went to. My last supervisor did not understand anything that I did. He went to the same Engineering school as me, and never did a single design in his life. He went out of his way to fire me because of this. His and all of the others knowledge was based on choice that they made. I have spent my life in continuous learning. I have heavily invested in books, parts and test equipment. I have built hundreds of thing at home that later I integrated into GMR projects. From the time I came to GMR I was designing key critical projects. Nearly everything that I designed was patented. I also began at some point filing the records of invention. At one time I filed sixteen ROIs in one day. When the selection was made to let people go in 2009, they chose me and the people that I supported. The people that did no designs were kept. Basically our place was stripped of the ability to do anything new. However, many of the people left were able to destroy personnel files and answer emails.
