I returned last night from Zimbabwe, which included visits to the recently rebuilt Chikwizo Clinic and the one waiting to start - Nyahuku. As you stand in these remote places, and speak with the people who depend on these clinics for basic health care, the urgency of the need is so apparent. As their commitment, the 19 villages around Nyahuku carry sand, water, and stone and make bricks 3 at a time. Even though we have not yet raised the funds, they have made the bricks - 540,000 of them. The photos are the current unsound building which must be torn down, and the stones and bricks which will one fine future day become the new clinic.
