I run the risk of this being an overshare, but allow me to indulge and put something out there: For once in my life, Im able to look at myself in the mirror and see myself as an attractive man. Not necessarily due to aestethic. There were years spending hating the way I talked and looked but Im at a place ( and I have being in NYC and last weeks pride to thank for this) that there was never anything wrong with me. I swear when you get this revelation, when you start loving yourself to wholeness (or start the process) you really start wanting to protect yourself and I dont mean in a defensive way but as in setting boundaries, really being picky about the people you associate with and making sure that you let nothing or nobody tear your self image.
