I said I wasnt going to comment but the harsh statements I have been hearing from within the christian community bring me back to a place I was a year ago. This song depicts a christians struggle with anxiety and depression. Just because you are a christian does not mean depression will not hit you and if it does it does not mean you do not know God or do not cling to Jesus with every ounce of your being. It is not a fun place to be. If you are a christian and you personally know Jesus, do not make harsh, judgmental comments that if he would have only known, he would be healed (Robyn Williams) Sometimes God doesnt heal. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, know God has NOT forgotten about you. Sometimes its dark, but someday there will be light. God sometimes does not heal the sick, but he will be with you every step of the way. Think aboutnyour words before you speak them. On the plus side, it is great there is a global discussion on depression and anxiety. Maybe a life can be saved by the words you speak.
