I said a very emotional final goodbye to my ex wifes mother this afternoon, I hadnt expected it to affect me as much as it did I suppose whilst the people you form relationships and bonds with are still here, its easy to take that relationship for granted admittedly we had our ups and downs none more so than when me and her daughter Debbie divorced but I accept that was her way of defending and protecting her daughter as any mother would do, and I admire any parent who puts their child first. Val you were one in a million and I shall miss you dearly, a loving wife to Robert, a wonderful mother to Della, Debbie and Jackie, a very much loved Grandma to Darran, Eva, Ricky and Kelly and last but least a firm but fair mother in law :-) God bless you and keep you in the warmth of his loving embrace 🙏🙏
