I said goodbye to and buried a very dear friend today. He crept into my life to an extent that not even I realized as I was living it, until he was no longer there -- and all for way too brief a while. He was a veritable Mary Poppins that floated into my life and proceeded to make things magic. No words can describe the void he left in his wake as he departed.
