I said that I would do an occasional update on my own journey on my comeback to stage after 15 years so here it is.So I have 4 months, 2 weeks and 2 days until NABBA Masters Figure at the Vic State show in Preston, Melbourne. Please feel free to pass comment or even ask me questions regarding diet/training ect.... To refresh your memory my two main aims was to not do any cardio in my prep and to have a calculated 1 rm of 200 on my deadlift. I see many, many girls compete on stage who quite frankly don’t look like they lift. Even in figure categories. I guess I was very clear on the outset that for my own personal satisfaction I wanted to look like I train, and that I look strong and have good quality, mature muscle on stage. Therefore my training had to reflect that. I posted (see post below) some of my chubb, if at all curious about what I look like the video below was from Saturday. Oh yeah, kind of cool....it was a 185 kg deadlift (*insert very happy face here*) CURRENT STATS FROM YESTERDAYS VISIT WITH COACH DAMON: Weight: 82.8 BF: 19% Lean Muscle Mass: 67 kg’s Prediction…with 67 kg of muscle and needing about 5 kg’s to keep alive I still predict I will weigh about 74 kg’s on stage, maybe 73, so I don’t actually have a lot in terms of kg’s to lose. But a lot in terms of slow and steady body fat loss and to keep my muscle which of course should be any good coaches primary goal. I want my dexa the week before comp to show 67!!
