I sat down at the computer to purchase Neil Young tickets. When I logged on I was number 650, give or take, in a virtual cue. I went and took a shower, shaved and returned after 42 minutes in the virtual cue. I am still #76 for Neil Young tickets at the Academy of Music. I called the box office, twice. The first response was all circuits are busy. The second recording stated that only obstructed view seating remains for both Neil Young shows. I just received this message after 44 minutes wait: An error occurred while fetching your status: This session is no longer valid. It has already been used to purchase tickets. Please return to the page where you began the ticket purchase process and start over again. REALLY?! Why do I bother? F U Academy, Ticketbastard, or whomever screwed this pooch! Oh, btw, if you want Neil tickets you can get them on stubhub and the like for $750 and up. WTF is this world coming to? Why is this not illegal? If ya wanna scalp you should have to do it the old fashioned way. Camp out at the box office overnight, with a staff of buyers if you like. Buy your max per person amount and then stand out in front of the venue on show night and peddle your wares, always wary of the police, who could bust you for it. Thank you Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain, Greensky Bluegrass, Cabinet, and a host of others that I can see for $25 and no hassles.
