I saw A Million Ways to Die in the West (*1/2 out of ****) this past weekend. Im not sure why--I guess I was hoping for a few good stupid laughs. Didnt get them. I dont have the energy for a full review because Im still exhausted from sitting through two hours of basically an overgrown SNL skit. Seth MacFarlane was not good in the lead and his facelifts make his eyes look weird. I kept thinking the movie would have been at least marginally better with Jason Bateman in the lead, but he probably would have had the good sense to stay away from it. Maybe Jason Sudeikis would have bitten. Neil Patrick Harris wasnt used well and even the musical number fell flat. The only person to emerge unscathed was Charlize Theron, who showed nice comedic chops despite being given very little to work with.
