I saw Rush this pm not bc I am a fan of racing but bc I wanted to see Daniel Bruhl`s performance - and I was, again, amazed: His portrayal of Niki Lauda was brilliant! Ron Howard`s direction was superb, and Chris Hemsworth (his gorgeous self) was remarkable as well! I`ve been a fan of Bruhl`s since Ladies in Lavender, but it was his portrayal of IstvanTurso in The Countess that got my true attention: He was the innocent young lover of the 17th century Hungarian Countess Erzebet Bathory who is documented as the most prolific (and cruel) serial killer in European history! Getting off the topic a bit here, but the premise was that she used the blood of hundreds of virgin girls to keep herself young for him as she was nearly twice his age!
