I saw a discussion on Al Sharpton from one of my friends on Facebook. It wasnt favorable towards Al, and this is what I wrote: Al Sharpton is alright. When its time, when people finally need him, thats when they realize his importance. Fox News goes in hard on Al. I dont watch Fox, its slanted too racist/conservative for me as a Black man. Fox is mad because Al has a show on MSNBC. The chairman of Fox makes money, sells advertisement, off being on the wrong side of history. Everyone makes mistakes. Has Als mistakes led to the death of people? Many of the laws past by conservative politicians lead to the death of people everyday; since the beginning of America. It was conservatives who sent small pox, in blankets to the Indian populations; the remaining pop was put on reservations. It was conservatives, who held the believes, like Thomas Jefferson, who thought Blacks and Whites would never be able to live together-- so Blacks should be deported back to Africa. Much like the conservatives, today, want to keep Mexicans out of America. It was conservatives who stripped the Japanese Americans of their homes during World War II. And, it is the conservatives (translation racists) who kill Black and Brown bodies today, exactly because of a white supremacy mind state, which stretches back to the founding fathers. Al has his place, and just like Martin Luther King-- later-- itll be fond memories of him, but when Martin was alive-- media like Fox thought of him like they think of Alfred Charles Sharpton, Jr. Food for thought-- they thought of Martin Luther King as the Anti-Christ too. It makes you ask yourself-- when years pass, and people find out the good these public figures do-- was it wise to call them anti-christ or was it the inner-racist in you, who didnt read The Bible in the first place? Because, if you did, well-- thats another discussion for another day. But, Ill let Jesse Williams express it best. Charles B. Richardson, its no need to delete you-- its your opinion; plus when we research history-- and we can state the true facts about whats going on, today, from the structure created centuries before, we can do this all day. It opens up discussion, and when people research-- they will say damn-- what that dude said about what America did and does is true!
