I saw a glimpse of the future today....I saw a room full of women, hungry for the next level, but not so hungry as to they were willing to EAT EACH OTHER to get there. These women were willing to patiently sit by and allow their sisters to feed them knowledge, resources, and greatness to get to the next level. These women realize that while there is a MESSAGE in their MESS, they MUST take their shoes off when they come into the room so as not to track mud into the circle of sisters there for them. While this ONLY happens on occasion I see a future where it happens MORE and MORE. It is time for us to put those women that CAUSE hate and discontent IN THE CORNER and ONLY allow them to come out and play when they agree to do so fairly. Yes, today was a great day and I thank my sisters of ALL colors for it. Special shout out to my sister Vernetta Wagc Freeney for leading the charge and for my sisters Toni Harris Kristi Jackson Mba Lisa N. Alexander Chimere Norris and myself for playing the role of elders today! Our MC JoAnn Ajayi-Scott was FABULOUS and when it was ALL said and done women walked away FED!
