I saw a panel discussion last night that REALLY disturbed me. The conversation, or debate, was about the crime in New York City and the “stop and frisk” ordinance. You see, as the laws are written there, it takes a law abiding citizen a long time to buy a firearm, meanwhile, unlawful criminals that already have guns, are coming into your home or place of business and robbing and killing you. Get the picture thus far? So, the Liberals on this panel, once they learned a few things about “crime statistics in NYC, were totally against the stop and frisk ordinance. It seems this is “profiling,” in their opinion and the reason is that only about 2 % of these crimes are being committed by white people, the rest are being carried out by minorities. The brunt of it falls on the black community. Hmmm………well, this explains why liberals are against such a thing. Now, I get the feeling that had white people been committing all of these crimes, INSTEAD of minorities, then Liberals wouldn’t have any problem at all with the ordinance then, would they? Of course they wouldn’t! This is a total shame. Are you starting to see how the liberal mind works now? They want all of these gun measures to affect law abiding citizens, thinking this will keep them safe, when all it really does is keep the criminals safe, while they are robbing, raping or killing you. God forbid you do anything that hints at profiling, though more than 90% of the crimes are being committed by minority groups.
