I saw a sign at the SMRT Bus Plus bus, For safety of passengers, a maximum of 6 standing passengers is allowed on this bus. I understand that the Bus Plus fares are more than twice of the normal fares. Are the passengers expected to stand, after paying this fare? Surely the operator should be required to provide sufficient bus to meet the demand? Anyway, if the mini bus is full, the passenger can go and take the normal bus, or wait for the next bus. It does not make sense to pay more than twice the fare and still have to stand!
