I saw an ad on TV from Americas Best, glasses n a free eye test for $99.9. I called immediately, got booked for 12pm, I drove 26mins happily, great deal, who cares :) I get there n went thru the most sophisticated eye test. Feeling good, I chose my frames after much considerations, I reached the cashier with my frames. Your bill is $487 am like what???? $487 maam. I said but ur ad said $99.9. He said yes maam ure right but the ad is to only get u tru the door. I switched my accent straight and i said well am from Africa too and I dnt have a credit nor a debit card, I came here with $150 cash.. Ok, I dnt want ur glasses.. He said ok but u have to pay for the eye test. In my raw Liberian accent I said ma man the ad said free eye test n he says free with the glasses.. I said ok then ull have to follow me home for ur balance money or I can just work here today.. He laughed n later give me a good deal to pick up my glasses next week :)).. Dnt believe everything u see on TV.. Am learning the hard way here..
