I saw an advert in a television channel yesterday saying that Respect for the office of the president will also quarantee you respect when you become a president. I wondered then if its lack of respect generally to that seat or its the man occupying the seat that is bringing shame to it. How does one earn respect in his community? Ist by not giving Damn to all the citizens of the community,by favouring one section of the cauntry above others,by militarising civil elections,engaging policemen in riggings and ballot box snatchings,by fogging votes through dispatches by CBN,by encouraging Niger-delta militants to issue threat to the entire nation,by hiding $49billion from crude oil revenues,by approving corruption and stealing,by denying peoples right to peaceful protests,by ignoring all reasonable advices and listening to a foreigner equal to his child,by aiding ministers and aides who are suppose to be shown the door out,by dancing when people got killed and injured in bomb blasts,by impeaching governors through illegal processes,by fearing to meet parents whose girls got abducted in a secondary school,by not been able to move freely in his own cauntry despite being president or by witch-hunting opposition members? RESPECT IS NOT BEING ACQUIRED,ITS BEING EARNED educated illiterates.
