I saw an interview with Gene Simmons that I thought was pretty arrogant. He had no issue letting the world know that he is rich......but is he really rich? Is he a man that is TRULY rich? Ive met men with riches that go so far above and beyond anything even remotely tangible. They dont have a huge number in a bank account. They could walk the streets and nobody would hound them for an autograph. They have worked 40+ hours a week and may never even be praised for doing a good job. They might even accept the fact that they will never have as much money or success as Gene Simmons. However, these men are still INCREDIBLY WEALTHY. You see instead of boats, cars, lavish houses, and product lines in their name, they have the following: Faith in a higher power that graciously gives them every breath they will take in life, the love and commitment of a great woman (or man), a loyal pack of friends that would follow them through hell and back without asking for compensation for their time or efforts, a loving family to keep them safe, courageous, and humble, and enough cash to keep food in their belly and a roof over their head. Having a lot of money doesnt make you an evil person, and nobody should apologize for making a profit. However, one day we will all die, and I really doubt anyone of us will miss their money when that day comes. Maybe Mr. Simmons has all of these things, plus money...hey, I hope he does, he has worked hard for it.....however, if you have the chance to tell the world of your wealth - speak from the soul, not the wallet.
