I saw him watching me as I popped punches around that ring. The gym was busier than usual, but he made his appearance obvious. Music was spinning through my ears and typically I see no one when Im up there. His interest was making me slightly uncomfortable, but I knew I had two more rounds to go. I continued despite his imposition. As I finished and tried to hurriedly escape his apparent need to talk to me, I was sure not to make eye contact. But to no avail I was cornered and forced to remove my ear buds. You look good up there. Thanks I heard something about you Oh? I was completely uninterested Yeah...you listen to classical music while you box? He was quite concerned Yes. Why? ....because I like it. Oh And it forces me to slow down and think calmly. I tend to go a hundred miles an hour usually. Listening to the cello makes me slow down and focus. It works. Interesting. Its actually kind of cool! Thanks. I walked away Glad he approved...(eye roll)
