I saw my first snowdrops two days ago and although the weather has turned a bit colder, the first sight of spring flowers really gave me a lift. It also means something else for us horse owners - the onset of lush spring grass - and lots of gas, bloating and gut pain for our horses. Make sure you are ready for this by having a tub of Gas-Ease on hand. If your horse is prone to gassing up with the grass then dont wait for it to happen, prevent it by giving Gas-Ease before they venture onto the new grass and keep giving it until the danger time is over. Let us all remember that gas build-up and bloating can lead to more severe and dangerous problems. Prevention is always better than cure. Have a nice day everybody.
