I saw my friend’s death coming... ON SUNDAY 3 August, he dreamt about his friend being shot and killed. The following day, Admires Chidhakwa told his friend about his dream, and his dream turned out to be reality. His friend, Constable Ridian Malungana, a cop, was shot while on duty at Katlehong South in Ekurhuleni on Saturday. Admires (37) said he has lost a friend who was like a brother to him. “It’s true that when death arrives no one can stop it. When I told him about the dream, he looked puzzled and concerned,” Admires said. The 26-year-old constable from Katlehong and his colleague were patrolling when they stopped a car with four occupants. Before Malungana and his colleague could reach the car, one of the occupants fired shots at Malungana. He died on the scene. Gauteng provincial spokesman Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said a case of murder has been opened and two suspects were arrested. “The matter is under investigation and the search for the other two suspects is on,” he said.
