I saw one tern flying over the Inlet early this morning. Dark - TopicsExpress

I saw one tern flying over the Inlet early this morning. Dark foreboding clouds loomed over the ocean before the 7:17 AM sun rise. The wind chill factor made it feel like 10 degrees. The wildlife that live here are survivors & even if they are having a rough go of it, we humans cannot intervene with their skills to hunt & find shelter. We love the wild life so much, so lets all pray theres enough seeds, bark, plant life, & the food chain provisions to keep them going through out the Winter. I observed the sea gulls were all inland this morning for protection from the frigid winds. Inland ponds were filled with many species of birds before 8 AM. Animals are instinctively intelligent, and can teach us humans many lessons. While the birds were flying inland, our photographers were gathering at the shores with chattering teeth to brave the bitter temperatures for one last look at a 2014 Long Island sunrise.
