I saw something last night that speaks to Cascades school spirit. Our varsity girls soccer team played Jackson - who has a GREAT team - and lost 9-0. I can only imagine how demoralized our girls felt during and after the game. However, there is usually a good-sized group of Cascade boys in attendance at home games, and last night was no exception. They encouraged and supported the girls throughout the match. After the game, they waited for the girls while Coach Anderson conducted his post-game meeting, then went down to the field and made a tunnel for the girls to walk through on their way out. To me, thats school spirit. Thanks to all for supporting our teams!
