I saw the movie #Selma today w/my Mom & it was very good w/a few hard scenes to watch. It brought back memories for her as she grew up in rural Alabama during that time. So many showings were sold out that the theater had to add more. As to whether or not it should have been nominated for more Oscars, I agree that there were other categories it should have been nominated for BUT, this isnt new & every year some great films, actors, directors...etc are snubbed. Thats just the Oscars & I dont expect anything different. All of the acting was superb! I definitely recommend the film to all as we remember this horrific yet triumphant part of our collective American history.
