I saw the nicest thing right before I got on a train to go to the - TopicsExpress

I saw the nicest thing right before I got on a train to go to the suburbs. A little boy, about 4 years old, was running across the seats in the lobby at Ogilvie. His leg fell through a gap between two seats and got stuck. STUCK stuck. He was bawling, his mother was panicking, and several people, myself included, were trying to loosen the seat the poor thing was (really badly) stuck to. Metra staff couldnt loosen it either, and police were called, but before they arrived a little old lady and I and a large, burly dude covered in tattoos simultaneously popped a Starburst in the kids mouth and delicately plucked the littles leg out of leg jail. Then we ALL clapped and cheered, and we re all friends now. Because a lot of people are really good and not selfish monsters and this is the Easter when we banded together to free a tiny human from the shackles of a plastic bench.
