I saw the proposed budget for education in Arizona posted online the other day (can’t seem to locate it now); and as interesting as it was, what I’d really like to see is a breakdown of how much of money being proposed we spend, is actually spent teaching our kids, what they need to know, to develop their God given talents? And how much is being spent on administrative overhead, facility costs, and expenditures that benefit the system, and those in it, rather than our kids? Budgeting for results is an art, not a science, and when it’s left up to government, neither is the case; because government doesn’t seek to realize a return on “OUR” investment, it merely uses the proceeds of the production - which it confiscates - to indoctrinate future generations, to vote along party lines (and as much as some legislators are working to change that, that still doesn’t change the fact that it is, what it is)…
