I saw the terrible scene in the recent basketbrawl where several players were fined and suspended. I will not put any finger on any player. But this kind of action has no place in a basketball court. Players must not give way their tempers. Basketball is a contact sport and contacts happen. To a certain extent mental and physical toughness is good but not dirty tactics. Most often, referees see the reaction of the players but not the provocation by the dirty players. Yes there are dirty players in the PBA. It is a fact. Some are called enforcers or something else. One of the 3 referees must be tasked look for dirty tactics and punish such. That way we can minimize brawls on the court. Sayang, a beautiful game is marred by dirty players.
