I saw these birds about two weeks ago. It brought that memory when one morning I had woken up early. I was sitting out on the porch drinking coffee and watching the cows. When you came outside with your coffee, we were making small talk about how beautiful the hillside was with the cows and early morning fog. Then we heard a mockingbird mimic a seagull. I thought I was funny and you thought it was queer that, that particular mockingbird had been near the beach lately then somehow ended up hours away. Then you started whistling and the mockingbird whistled back. Nothing special happened. We were just enjoying time together. We didnt make any special memories. There were no important lessons learned. We just bonded more. I miss you Daddy💙
