I saw these guys in 1971 in Germany, and they played from about 10 pm until sunrise the next morning! I dont know how exactly you view me, and it doesnt sound much like what a Christian would post, but I do have a past. Pink Floyd was never in the forefront of my star worship idolatry, (lets be honest, thats what it is,) but as a saved yet unlearned Christian, still wandering the world looking for answers, not realizing that the answer, Jesus, dwelt within my heart already, music had much affect on me. As a musician, this group has influenced me immensely and I still bring certain aspects of their style into my playing today, even though I want to focus on Christian music. Not everything people do is necessarily bad just because theyre not Christian. In fact, everything around us influences us every day. For example, are you a Christian? Do you like James Taylor or Patsy Cline, George Strait or the Beatles? Good, enjoy! Because at the end of the day, it all comes down to who gets the glory. A choice, to idolize them for their greatness, or thanking God for Blessing people with wonderful talents! Lol, Im rambling again! :-)
