I saw this gross video on the Today Show. I dont know why Im watching the Today Show, it honestly makes me sad about America. Case in point: A country band full of white men in sparkly jackets sang a song about dirt, then talked about how their fans were shocked when they made a song with a black rapper, but that it was good to get out of our comfort zone. Anyways. Jokes about Mommy Stress are so tired and obnoxious. Its like when you have a kid, you are expected to complain about being frazzled and exhausted all of the time, as long as you still cherish your child enough to make lighthearted jokes about how much sleep youre not getting. I know a lot of moms in all different situations, and Ive learned about an important choice theyve all had to make: Either be brave enough to love your kid and not complain about all the shit they put you through, or be brave enough to love your kid and be able to admit that theyre being an asshole who wont let you sleep.
