I saw this little one this morning as I came back from the beach. Near my car this Tufted titmouse was taking a break from searching for seeds for his breakfast. At first, the little bird seemed forlorn as it hung its head. But after a while, it lifted its head and puffed up his feathers to create the insulation that his feathers can use to help keep in the warmth. It always amazes me to witness how animals adapt to the worst of conditions. Even the smallest most delicate of creatures can endure the harshest weather and survive. I know that these images are not the best, due to the lack of proper light...but I had to share the beauty and courage of this little one with you all. Enjoy! 11/18/2014.
