I saw this quote today, Im drowning in my grief, and I dont know how to come up for air. My loss was over seven years ago. Ive since found acceptance and peace in knowing, even if it causes me heartache, my sons life was what it was intended to be, and though there is still a longing it no longer blankets my whole life in despair as it once had. Are you drowning in your grief desperately trying to come up for air? Please hang on. Please keep wading there allowing yourself the freedom to feel, but find hope in knowing that with time and with healing you will be able to breathe again. We hope for those that attend the 5th Annual Walk to Remember, that the event will be a moment of relief for you. A moment to help you heal those gaping wounds in your heart, and if just for a moment you will take a peaceful breath in knowing you are honoring the life that you hold so very dear.
