I saw yesterday Percy Jacksons Sea of Monsters since the day before I finished the first book. After I started reading the Sea of Monsters book, and so far my only issue is length, these books only take me at most a few days. The movie, though. First, I believe they changed the actors for Chiron and Hermes. Second, they immediately throw in characters introduced in the last book as if we already knew them, such as Mr. D, Clarisse, and Thalia. All in all, it seems unlike Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, this series wasnt just refined to its basic plot, it seems hacked to pieces, with some cheap glue to keep some parts together.
