I say it every year but this year it rings so true. This was the fastest summer of my life! School ended later and having a surgery 10 days into summer that had me off my feet until the second week of August was making it seem like this was the summer that never was. Luckily we packed in family time, beach time, the jersey shore, and a few other fun things into the past two weeks to salvage this summer. Some parents do a happy dance when school begins...not me, I love sleeping late, no crazy schedules, lazy days at the beach with my kids and just having my kids around! Lets hope this weekend drags and the school year flies. Im not quite ready to be a mom of a 4th, 7th and 11th grader!
