I scream, you scream for Miracle Treat Day! Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day fundraiser for Children’s Hospital is today, Thursday, Aug. 8, at Dairy Queen restaurants throughout mid-Missouri. Restaurants located in Boonville, Columbia, Fayette, Fulton, Jefferson City, Mexico and Vandalia will participate in the event. For every Blizzard Treat sold that day, Dairy Queen will donate $1 to $2 to MU Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Supporters also may give to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and MU Children’s Hospital by purchasing a “Miracle Balloon” for $1 or $5 each. The balloons can be personalized and will be displayed at participating Dairy Queen restaurants through Aug. 8.
