OKAY point of clarification, as far as we understand, Ben & Jerrys still needs to remove dairy from cows injected with rBGH and dairy from cows fed GMOs. The dairy sources need to be addressed! Top it off with the fact that B&Js is owned by UNILEVER which has donated tons of money against GMO labeling, and we would like to see Ben & Jerrys quickly take the next step regarding dairy sources. Also, would be great if they would just completely separate themselves from Unilever. But the fact is, it is still owned by Unilever. But this is a step for a large American company and we will keep pushing for clean dairy. How about going organic? Its important to note that a lot of GMO labeling policies to not require foods to be labeled which contain animal products fed GMOs or injected with rBGH. Neither are GMO ingredients required to be labeled in the United States despite more than 62 countries requiring labeling. However, the dairy, and animal products fed or injected with GMOs, need to be considered. It needs to be addressed. It needs to just stop, Bt is being detected in our blood. We would launch a support campaign if the company separated itself from Unilever and went organic. Lets just say not everyone of B&Js wanted that takeover, it was fought very hard, but it happened. Are happy cows fed GMOs or injected with rBGH?
