I see a lot about setting goals for 2015--- As a leader are you making goals for your department because they are your ideas going forward in compliance to the Vision of your church??? Are they accomplish-able???? Are the goals for your department (means you have people in that department) that the people have bought into???? DID YOU MEET LAST YEARS GOALS??? WHY NOT?? If not why are you writing new goals????? When do you report the accomplishments--every 3 months--every four month ----every 6 months---NEVER???? Probably answers the question of never meeting goals. Do the other department heads know your goals??? Do you have someone to monitor the goals?? Without accountability goals are empty promises.
