I see a lot of excitement in everyone with the launch of #bbm4all .... everyone has been updating their pins on facebook and twiter, i also got a few broadcasts on whatsapp declaring their bbm pins. There are lots of talk about bbm replacinh all the messengers and will dominate the market very soon. They talk about the security of the chat , the user friendly interface and the trust of blackberry. All this is true but its after peoplee start using it. I feel its gonna fail before it starts. Unlike whatsapp where your contacts are directly added from your phone book, here you will have to individually add in pins and how many are actually taking pain of typing in their friends pin and send a request... adding a few of your close friends is fine but for 300 to 700 contacts in your phone book i dont think it is possible.
