I see a lot of posts on this page I can completely relate to. I have custody of my 11 and 12 yr old daughters and Im about to go to court in January over visitations/custody of my 7 month old boy. Whom I havent seen in 4 months. I am going into court without an attorney because I cant afford one and against his mother whos family is paying for her attorney. I guess what Im saying is Ive seen a lot of guys saying that they cant go fight for their children because they cant afford an attorney. You can do it without. I used to feel the same way and be discouraged about going into court solo. Meet with your local court facilitator to have court papers filled out and filed. Do research, Bring family members with you and have declarations filled out by friends/family/coworkers/bosses etc. You can fight and if you represent yourself as a fit parent a judge will see that. It is your right to see your children. If anyone needs any advise please pm me. And most importantly stay completely patient even when you feel upside down or anger ridden. Count to ten, take a deep breath, and cool yourself. And document every thing. Screen capture and save every text message, print them out for court. When there is a will, there is a way.
