I see a lot of videos on the net at the moment of citizens thinking they are doing the right thing by recording police officers man handling suspects. Calling it police brutality etc. they main reason this happens is because people resist. If you dont resist and comply with what they say it will make their lives easier, they wont get angry, and they wont feel as if you may be a threat to their. Police officers know the risks of their job, thats why the do everything (within their power) to ensure they arent going to get hurt or killed. A few years ago, a dangerous man (known for his gunpoint robberies in vegas) escaped from a US prison, after weeks of being out he was found, and ran, he climbed through the window of a couples house and ordered them to tell the police that they hadnt seen him as the police were doing their rounds of the circulated area he may be in, he knew the old lady told the police he was there, as Tactical was surrounding the house he made a call the 911 and notified them of his exact location in the house and said he was lying down with his hands on his head because he didnt want to get shot. When Tactical found him, he was. The police knew he was no threat at that stage because of his final compliance and he was taken into custody un harmed. Lesson is despite what you have done, compliance with no resistance will ensure you dont get hurt or sprayed in the eyes. (Or choked).
